Personal Care Technician (PCT)

Location: Hoschton, GA

Employment Type: Part-Time | Contract

Job Summary

The Personal Care Technician (PCT) provides compassionate daily care and assistance to residents living in our personal care home. This position helps residents maintain their independence, comfort, and quality of life while ensuring a safe and clean environment.

​

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene

  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation

  • Prepare and serve meals

  • Assist residents with eating when necessary

  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry

  • Change bed linens and maintain clean resident rooms

  • Remind residents to take medications as directed

  • Observe and report changes in residents' condition

  • Assist with appointments, errands, and shopping when needed

  • Complete daily documentation accurately

  • Maintain resident safety and follow all company policies

  • Participate in required training and emergency drills

  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old (21 to work independently)

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

  • Compassionate, dependable, and patient

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Experience caring for elderly or disabled individuals is preferred

  • CPR and First Aid Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
